New DVD drive

I m planning to buy a new DVD RW drive or HDDVD/Blu-Ray drive upto Rs.2000 ($40) for home desktop. My RAM is DDR 333MHz (old model) 512MB. Suggest me if I should go for DVD drive or HD-DVD (if HD-DVD is in the budget). Also suggest me the companys, models, specifications and prices. The important thing is that my RAM is of old model (around 4 years old) and 512MB only. Also my processor is AMD Athlon 64 2800+ which is also around 4 years old.

Re: New DVD drive

Hello,

List the make/model of the PC if this is a custom built system list your specs.

Need to know configuration rather IDE or SATA....

Blu-Ray is out of the equation with a $40 budget
