Roll Eyes Re: my DVD CD drive door wont open

I am the first to admit that I am not what you would call a computer 'geek'. I am so frustrated that I want to pull my hair out.
For some reason, I cant get the door to open on the CD-DVD drive. can anyone tell me what to do?
I can hear a noise that would lead me to believe that its actually trying to open. I have even tried to pry it open (gingerly) but still havent had any luck. I have to get it open to run the software to hook back up to the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated but please keep in mind that I dont have the computer vocabulary to understand if you get too complicated with your answers!! sorry!!

Hello,

Restart the computer. During the restart see if the disc will open.

On the front the the drive door there should be a small pinhole

try inserting a paperclip into there and push. The door should partially

eject.
