Need new firmware update for my drive
Hi everyone. I am using an older toshiba sattelite M30 notebook, and it has a matshita udja750 cdrw/dvd rom combo drive in it. I need to update the firmware so that it can read dual layer dvd's, but there isn't a one to be found. Even if I manage to find one for my particular model, it does a detection thing to see what type it is, but even if I download the right update file, it tells me that I don't have a matshita drive! Deviced manager tells me I have a matshita drive, so whats the issue there?
