35 Gigs and says Drive Full

This drive was working, like, just last week. It had only 10 gigs left, so i freed up about 20 gigs. Tonight i tried moving some movie files (5 gigs) onto it, and it says drive full. I have run disc cleanup. Why won't it work? It says 35.7 and my 2 gb files are going over fine. I am assuming it won't go under 30 gigs. I believe i have it set to master. It is removable.
