A couple of problems plz help...

Okay I will go ahead and jump straight into this because if your reading this then you obviously want to help .

1. Okay my dvd/cd combo drive is starting to have problems opening itself. Basicly it takes about 5-10 tries to get it to open and I don't know why. Also the drive ALWAYS opens if there is already a dvd or cd in there it doesn't have any problems then. Only when it is empty does it have issues.
2. I have a friend who does the recording of the church cds and dvds and here recently her dvds have somehow been getting currupted when being burnt by the hardware at the church. About 4-5 ones every 2 months or so.
3. Also I have been trying to recover the incomplete data off this dvd for the last day using different software but I am at a standstill. This dvd has the data on it but it is uncompleted or something. Please help me with this the dvd has very important church stuff on it and I can't seem to get a working copy of ANY of the files...

Anyways pls help if you can the dvd drive sounds like it tries to open but gets jammed on something. I tried to open the drive and look for loose bolts or anything but it was sodered together in the front. Anyways tnx in advance.
