initializing external hard drive
i recently tried to put a ghost image file on one of my computers. the ghost image file was on my external hard drive. when i start to load the image to my computer it came up with an error stating that it could not find A:\GHOSTERR.TXT or the file might be corrupt. but that's not my problem. my problem is this. after wards i took a look at my external hard drive. my computer could not load it right. so i went to Disk Managment. it said that it was unallocated. when i tried to formate it it said that it wasn't initialized. when i right click on it, Initialize is not an option. the only options i have is " set as primary, properties, and help" niether one of those helped. if anybody can help me with this problem i would really appreciate it. thanks
