not reading SD card
Hi, I'm pretty new at this so please bare with me. I have a Northgate STAC2417C computer. It has slots for SD, MS, CF and SM. When I put in the SD card, nothing happens. Do I need to install something to get it to read? Also, how do I know what all the drives are? I mean I have removable disks E, F G, and I and they are all enabled and working properly but what are they? Sorry for being such a novice! Thanks for all your help!

Re: not reading SD card
put the card in the slot, right click my computer, click on manage, click on disk management (under storage) and see if the card is recognized in the right hand column. If so, is a letter assigned to it? If not, near the bottom of the right hand column, right click on the sd card and click assign a letter.
