Hi, i have a file that is about 1.98 gig which i want to transfer from my laptop to the PC. the problem is, the only means of transport i have is a 2 gig USB. i thought being 2 gig it should be able to hold a 1.98 gig file, but i checked its properties and it says theres actually only 1.88 gig free space on it. i'm wondering if i can compress this 1.98 gig file to make it small enough to fit inside a USB with 1.88 gig free space its really killing me because i'm just a little bit of space short and I don't know much about zipping or compressing
any suggestions?
