Need Help with Samsung SATA S223Q DVD drive !
Hello ,
Need some help setting up the DVD burner ? Motherboard = GA MA78G - DS3H , AMD 64 X2 5600+ , 2GB RAM Had a faulty drive earlier by LG which was detected in the Native IDE mode but resulted in OS hangup during logon .Firmware issues! Had RMA'ed that one for the Samsung one in exchange ., 1) Sata enabled in bios , hdd is IDE : AHCI mode enables detection of the drive during bootup but wont boot any bootable OS cd's ? "Boot Error" is seen . Tried RAID ( just try ) no success( obvious) . 2) Native IDE mode on the board does not show the Drive even in Bios for boot selection . What could be the problem here , drive or settings or should exchange for an IDE ??  Please help !! |
