touching front usb port/media reader causes shutdown
I'm running XP on a barebones build. I only installed a dvd drive and a hard drive. It seems like static electricity is causing the shutdown when I try to insert a card or a usb plug, only to the front ports on the machine. My last computer had no problems and the manufacturer has no idea why it's happening. They have sent me 2 different new machines and they both do the same thing. Any solutions out there?
