my cd/dvd drive is not working the error is code 19 and it states that Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19). Someone please help and let me know what I need to do

in the device manager uninstall the drive and reboot
was it working ok before
