Pin dvd/cd-rw reading cds but not dvds

The picture next to the drive in my computer turns to DVD-ROM, but it shows the size of it being 0 bytes and doesnt show any files on it like it was a blank one.

try removing the filters

a little update.. its reading dvds fine, but not one certain dvd.
reading that certain dvd the problem appears i described above.
that dvd should contain a 20 min movie but i cant play the dvd, open it nor play the movie. I have the newest possible drivers and cyberlink PowerDVD decoder. what might be the problem here?

it may be in the wrong format when you burn't it

i didn't burn that dvd if you mean that. its an official dvd under copyright law and ****, distributed by a company

check you have the codecs installed
