Re: DVD-Rom drive

I reinstalled itunes and removed the drive and rebooted. The drive is in the device manager but not in my computer. I still get the code 10 can not start. but the driver is up to date. This computer just can't show the dvd drive.

Re: DVD-Rom drive

I have not installed any burning software. Can't find any in the add remove list. If I right click my computer and explore. I can find a movie maker file. Also if I click on a hp photo and imaging short cut I got when I pluged my printer in. I go to a list of programs and roxio is there. I can't access anything in this file list with a right or left click. could any of these be a burning software that I would remove?

Re: DVD-Rom drive

After doing an advanced search of drive C and D. I found a roxio file I could delete. I don't remember putting that program on this computer. It's been there since september. shortly after I got the computer.
Anyway, Thanks For the guidance on this issue. I now have my E drive back again and everyone is happy. Thanks Again
