floppy drive not working
my floppy drive does not detect my floppy disks it used to and it does not allow me to format disks it says it is working properly but i am having this problem so how can i fix it. i uninstalled office 2003 and i want to download and install a trial version of office 2007 but the floppy drive is not working for me to be able to save word documents if i do install office 2007 how can i fix my computer and how can i tell what brand the floppy drive is it does not tell me when i look in control panel any help would be appreciated it has windows xp installed on my computer it came with the operating system on it and i am not familiar with computers
