Roll Eyes Very Slow Boot-up

Happy New Year everyone...

I am new to this forum and I hope I'm in the right area.
I have encountered a problem that I hope you can help me with.
For Christmas I received a Memorex DVD-CD writer.
It came with Nero 7 Essential software with Lightscribe.
After I installed the drive and the Nero software, everytime I turn my computer on, it takes a full 3 minutes to boot up. Before this, it took only about a minute.
I have tried uninstalling the software, disconnecting the drive, doing all of my scans, defrag, and chkdsk... nothing helped.
I have since hooked up the drive, and am using my roxio software, (which I like better). I also downloaded the Lightscribe software from their website and am using the Lightscribe Template Software program.
Everything seems to work fine except for the booting of the computer.
I do have Hijack This if you would need to check a log.

My system stats are:
WindowsXP Pro SP3
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
768MB Ram
I would appreciate any help with this problem.
Thank you, Bucky514

Re: Very Slow Boot-up

Hmmmm...
OK... I guess no one knows how to correct my problem or
no one wants to help.
It's been 6 days now, and I have not had any replies to my post.

Thanks anyway, Bucky514
