Disc Burning for Karaoke Machine
![]() I can't believe I actually stepped out of "The Relaxation Room", but here I am! I would like to burn some discs to utilize with "The Singing Machine" Karaoke System (stripped down model, I assume, its about the same size as a small ghetto blaster) that hooks into a TV. I downloaded music from a karaoke song site and wish to burn them to discs for use in "The Machine". My computer has DVD/CD-RW drive and lists Lite-On Combo SOHC 3836V (whatever that is but sounds like something pertinent). I have the Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and Nero Burning (however I have never been able to pull up any sort of Nero Player, although I show that I have the files) Because I was unfamiliar with the format of sound combined with a visual going to the TV I googled around to see if my burner could accomplish this task. Perhaps a software program or new drivers or add-on etc. I was unable to do much more than confuse the matter. It doesn't matter if the discs will play again on the computer, however that would be a plus just for the fun of it. I would not be able to verify the discs success immediately because I am not the Karaoke Machine owner, I don't want to ruin blank discs and all the wasted hours downloading all these tunes on my "slower than molassas you must be dial-up" internet connection when I could be playing pogo or with my TSF buddies. A couple of the google hits spoke of CD-G ?? and I also ran across something about Nero could but Windows Media couldn't. I appreciate any insight or suggestions. (I may add, all my "projects" are usually funded with a zero budget) . Will we be singing again, or left holding a dead mic?
