Internal Card reader issues

I just installed an AFT PRO-28U internal card reader. The unit didn't come with a disk and said it didn't need one for XP. The Reader is recognized in "my computer", yet when I put my camera's CF card in it doesn't open up any kind of viewing options. I guess I'm just used to my old external reader which came with a disk that provided software for this.

What's the best way to set this reader up so it reads upon installing a card. There was a driver on AFT's site but that just seemed to give you enhanced Icons in my computer. I also found a firmware update for this unit online but it didn't install properly. I'm obviously missing something here.

Re: Internal Card reader issues

Try going to the card reader drive letter in my computer and right click it and go to properties in the context menu. You should have options in the autoplay tab. Can either get it to launch a specific program when a card is inserted, or to prompt you and you select from the list.
