Is it Normal USB Device Flash/HDD Drive still LED up after "safely remove hardware"?
Greetings..
I'm having this kind of problem under Vista Ultimate. I'm afraid it will effect on my storage. Normaly when we "safely remove hardware" on XP, the hardware LED will off (physically) and by that time we will remove the device. Need advise in it.. Thank you |

Hi, I haven't seen a vista computer yet take the power away from an usb driveeven after the safely remove thing. I have only used a few computers with Vista, but all did that, even my new laptop when I first got it. I wouldn't worry much, I don't think you should get any problems as long as the safely remove was successful.
I also put XP on my latop before and the power is disconnected when you do safely remove so it is not a hardware issue, just the design in Vista |
