I have a 16Gb flash drive(only 15Gb though) with 13Gb free. I have a 5.67Gb .7z file I tried to copy to the flash drive. It says that the file is too large to fit though. I tried copying it to my documents then to my flash drive, that still didn't work. I then tried extracting it with 7-zip to my flash drive, and I let it run all night. This morning, it was still extracting, and was at 83.7 Gb?!?!?! There are two folders that were being extracted. I could only delete one folder, and the other one gave me a message saying something like it cannot be read from the source disk or something. My friend compressed it, so I'm pretty sure he didn't do anything to it. Does anyone know what the problem might be, or how I can fix it? I really need to decompress it and access the files!!!
Also, the extracted file was (according to both my friend and 7-zip) supposed to be around 8Gb |

usb sticks come formatted in fat32 which has a 4GB limit for a single file.
