I just used it a few days ago. No Problem. Today I want to read a disk, and it makes all the right noises, but does not open. Any suggestions?

Re: cd drive won't open
I've had this happen. Unplug the 4 pin molex power, and plug it back in. Fixed it for me...one of the voltage lines had come loose, other hadn't.

Re: cd drive won't open
Quick update.......I quite by accident was able to ask a tech about this. He told me to unfold a small paper clip, and then insert it into the round opening just below the drawer. When you meet resistance, push slightly, and the drawer will be released. Worked like a charm.
