anyway, Ried also assisted me in cleaning up all the removable drives that I am using... but now my problem is, one of my flash disk got infected again... our printer was busted and i needed to print some files so i brought my flash disk to a computer shop nearby... unfortunately, their pc's was infected so now my flash disk is infected again... i havent inserted it to my pc for fear that it might get infected again... now, i bought a new laptop and i need my flash disk to transfer some of my files into my laptop... what should i do? can you help me please...

Re: Flash Disk infected

If you have an older computer or go back to the computer place and ask if you can install Panda Active Scan (just google it) make an account and run the scanner. It will clean up there computer too hopefully.

Re: Flash Disk infected

Other than scanning or formatting there are really no other choices. How many gigs is it? Is there data on there that you can back up to another computer and then buy a new flashdisc to use?

When you say it is infected, how do you know.

If you need to format it follow that actual windows XP format instructions and just click on a different partition (the flash disc)
