DVD Drive Not Recognised by System
OS is Windows XP Professional.
Installed LG DVD Writer GH 22NP20. First time loaded the driver from the CD which was with the gadget. It was working fine for some time. Recently, unable to read CDs or DVD. Checked manage from the computer and there is the yellow icon with a question mark. Tried troubleshooting. The error message is "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)" Changed the flat cable but the same error message is displayed. Loaded the drivers from the CD and installed on Pen Drive and installed on C drive Program folder. The problem still continues. How to solve this problem. A. S. Bhasker Raj Secunderabad India |
