USB 1.8" 20gb hard drive will not mount in "my computer"
i took out the miniture hard drive out of my old h10 iriver and i put it into a casing i bought online and im having a few problems with it. for starters it takes like a hour or 2 to be reconized by my computer i thought it was dead at first but i left it plugged in over night and i seen the little your new hard war is installed and ready for use ballon in the system tray but when i went to my computer to access it the wasnt any removeable media just my local drive and my DVD drive. i went into the device managerand checked under disk drives and i have a new drive listed but it doesnt have a name it has like 20 symbols as the name. i also went into the properites of it and it says that its working properly but under the volumes tap when i try to pouplate it says things like unde status its unknown and partition style is unknown.
what should i do so i can make this thing usable?
