USB flash drive read-write tests
I have a new 16 GB flash drive (AData) on a USB hub. I have had two occasions where the files have been corrupted past redemption. I have had no problem with 2 or 4 GB flash drives on the hub, so I do not think that the hub is a problem. Is there a read-write program (I am aware of the limited read-write cycles of flash drives, but if it wont be 'safe' I cannot use it) to test the flash drive ( I am not looking for a 'speed' test). Does anyone have an idea of any other tests to find out why this drive fails (I have used the systray ' remove hardware' indicator, but to no apparent avail)?
