Computer restarts after I installed new DVD Burner
My old DVD burner died out on me so picked up a new HP internal burner. After I installed it and booted the computer back up, the screen would show the boot up process, show the XP symbol and restart. It would continue to do this until I turned it off.
My husband returned the burner, bought a new one (LG) and installed it. At first, it was OK but it would copy a disk but error out when it attempted to burn the disk. When he uninstalled and reinstalled it, the computer started to restart again like it did with the first one. The original DVD burner was set to Master and that is what we set the new one(s) to as well. Please help. |
