External Hard drive- "USB Device not recognized"
Salutations. Thanks for clicking. I've had my hard drive for about 6 months now maybe less and it worked real well until recently for no reason. I plugged it in one day and it said it isn't recognized, so I tried on my boyfriends computer and that didn't work either. I just got a new Alienware computer updated USB drivers, Intel extreme processor, 4GB ram everything, but it still didn't work so i know that it's the actual external hard drive that isn't working.
I've tried creating a USB registry with a DWORD value of 1, and a whole bunch of other fixes but it won't work :(. Please any suggestions i'd love you forever! xoxoxoxo
