Flash drive, can't open, can't formmat
I have a proble with my 2GB imation Nano flash drive. When you plug it into the computer, windows is able to see it but when you try to open it, it says its not formmated and asks me whether I would want to formmat it or not. if I click YES it says windows was unable to complete formmating and when I click NO, nothing happens.
I have tried it to more than 3 computers and it keeps saying the same. my computer Pentium 4 and uses windows XP professional service pack2. The other thing is that when I right click on it and go to properties, it shows that its full. please I really need your help so that I can have it work again. |

Re: Flash drive, can't open, can't formmat
There is an alternative way to reformat your flash drive.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management. Under the Storage tab, enter Disk Manager. From there, you should be able to right-click that drive and reformat. Make sure you choose the right drive. Hope this helps. -Johnny |
