Passwording Flash Drives
Hi, I have a bad habit of losing my flash drives, and I was wondering if there was any way of protecting your flash drive so that if someone tried to access it, they won't be able to use the drive at all. I know there are programs that encrypt your files, but I don't think that would stop someone from just reformatting the whole drive and using it for their own purpose. Are there any programs out there that can help me with this?
Thanks. |

Re: Passwording Flash Drives
You can try getting a flash drive that has the switch for read only and normal use. I don't see them a lot and you would also have to alter the device so that only you can use the switch. Other than that, you can check into U3 dflash drives, but i think those you can still format, but you may not be able to completely, sorry.
