TSSTcorp CD/DVD H652D Error 37
Hi I'm running Vista SP2 on a 9 month old Gateway. CD/DVD H652D has worked fine until tonight when it disappeared from the my computer listing. I went to device manager - yes, yellow exclamation point. I went online and confirmed I had the most updated driver. When I try to "get solutions" the message I receive is "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37) So I went online to retrieve the most updated driver - got it, but no change. I uninstalled the device, rebooted the computer and let windows reinstall it. Same error message. I've read about Error 39 codes throughout this forum, but nothing on this topic. My skill level is beyond newbie, but below geek. Any help will really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
