Roll Eyes Help Me!!!

Hi Guys....

I have a P4 Pentium 2GHz CPU runnin Windows XP on it with 1GB RAM DDR 400MHz....i had purchased a USB Hard Disk of Western Digital..capacity 80GB....from the past few months its givin me problems...

Whenever i copy / delete a file from the drive, the explorer hangs itself.. and i cant do nothin....i have to unplug the HD without safely removing it...the next time when i plug in the device...it prompts me to format that particular drive....

Or else it creates garbage files of size more than 1GB,which i cant delete...i have attached the screenshot of the drive...

Please help me...i cant figure out the problem...i think the hard disk is corrupted...

Thanks....
