My ATAPI DVDA DH16A1P ATA device has stopped working. Device manager says it's working, have tried changing the registry values ( as suggested by Microsoft) , have tried uninstalling/reinstalling - nothing changed. A week ago Call of Duty 4/ Medal of Honor worked fine. Now the drive can't open them. Any ideas? The computer is a Packard Bell IMEDIA J2412 and I have never been able to write the recovery disks either.
