I am now in a rut, and can't get it out. I am curious too know if there is a solution for such a problem.. P.S. its not my computer its my moms.. so SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! ![]() It is in Acer Laptop, and Windows Vista Last edited by dasilva33; 07-24-2008 at 01:27 PM. |

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
Try a pair of tweezers, but be careful.

What about a bobby pin? Use the open end.

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
Try 'pricking' it out with a needle. The needle might just get some 'grip'.

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
I thought about that, but was afraid it would scratch it. There might not be any other way.

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
Better scratched chip than a jammed machine?

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
Yup. Maybe pick it up and shake it
(don't really do that!)

Re: Memory Card Stuck!
my laptop wont turn on now, it is saying something about an error with a removable drive or something...
i flipped my laptop (my moms) upside down and i noticed that there is a plate with one screw in it that i can take off right where the memory chip goes into the side of the laptop... is it safe just to take this off, and take a peek too see if i can get it out? |
