NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD Not recognised by apps, no error message
Hi, I am trying to burn a short play to DVD, first out of ROXIO, and then, failing that, without menus straight from premiere. Nothing is recognising the burner but windows sees it just fine. I cannot get any driver updates for it, got no original discs, but the problem seems to be something more sinister as the drive is present and correct otherwise.
Opening properties reveals no errors or anything. And troubleshoot is useless, completely overlooking the need to burn in its questions so I go the wrong way instantly.. Any ideas? This is the worst possible timing as I am on a deadline and my machine has once again decided to stiff me. Thanks, I know its not much to go on Parklins |

Re: NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD Not recognised by apps, no error message
Hi,
thanks for the reply, but before I do go down that route, can I confirm that I get no error messages at all. In My Computer the drive is present and seems to be working, but none of my DVD burning apps, from roxio EMC9 to sonic mydvd or even premiere pro recognises the drive. That is to say, I don't have any of these symptoms on this link... |
