DVD-RW Malfunction
Hi all,
Seems like I have a problem here yet again that I cannot solve. First off all, I have an External Lite-On DVD/CD-RW Drive, Model #: SOHW-1673SU. I was in the middle of a burn process this morning and the burn failed and I recieved a balloon pop-up shortly after saying the USB Device Cannot Be Recognized. I have tried the following: 1) Deleting vid_xxxx from my registry 2) Adding a DWORD Registry, believe it was DisableSelectiveSuspend 3) Removed all USB and re-connected, restarted, to no avail. 4) Shutting the PSU off and on to discharge. 5) I went through Device Manager, uninstalling everying in the USB, including hidden ones that are grey. Restarted, to no avail. Everything else works besides the DVD Burner. Was working just fine and then crapped on me so, tell me what you think. I even plugged it in my computer and other ports. I have a 4-Port USB Hub by the way. Oh yeah, I have Windows Vista SP1, I heard they had some of those issues fixed within that. If you need my specs let me know, I'm stuck. Thank You! |
