floppy light stays on
I'm having the same problem with the floppy drive tht stays on wen i do computer startup and my problem adds tht the monitor doesnt respond at all. I tried w/out my video card same problem. The floppy drive stays lit on and fan slows down. Anyone has any ideas what is happeing?

all ribbon cables are polarized. Red stripe always attaches facing the power connector. That was the 2nd thing i learned in comp maint. First thing was that keyboard PS/2 port is always the one nearest the mobo.
