USB Memory Stick wants me to format it...

...well not me, but my friend.

He removed it today from a computer and when he put it back in and clicked to open, it came up saying to format it.

How can he recover all the data he had on it or get it back as it was?

Any programs that'd do the trick?

Hey mate,
well it depends how important are those data...
I do not know any free software that will get data back, but do know some software but you must buy them if you want to use them off course...

you can download free trial GetDataBack program. It is an awesome program that I am using to recover accidentally deleted data...

you can also try free trial to check if you can get data back...
But I prefer GetDataBack more...
