Cannot load drivers for dvd/cd drives

After installing software for Print Shop I restart my PC and when in comeas back up the 2 drives are missing in the My Computer list. I look in the device manager list, they are there, it indicates they have the latest drivers, but an error code 10 is issued, Cannot Load Drivers. How can I load them manually?

Re: Cannot load drivers for dvd/cd drives

Hi, you could uninstall Print Shop and then try a System Restore, to before you installed it. If it fixes things, then google to see if any others have had probs with vista & print-shop.

Re: Cannot load drivers for dvd/cd drives

uninstall the drives from the device manager and reboot
if not back to normal remove the upper and lower filters

Re: Cannot load drivers for dvd/cd drives

(Thanks Dai, was going to add that later, if the restore didn't work).

RSwiders,
I've had my own problems with installing Print Shop for my sister. The only version I could get to work with Vista was version 22.0 Deluxe. The others caused all sorts of problems, e.g. the printer stopped working.
The advice from Broderbund is to install in Vista Compatibilty Mode.........

I wish you more luck than I had.
