DVD+RW will record once only
I've got a new HP Pavilion pc running Vista. For DVD recording I'm using Nero Start Smart Essentials. I have no problem recording DVD video files on DVD-R disks, but when I try to record on DVD+RW disks(Verbatim), it will record the first time only. After that, the next recording on the same disk cannot be read by my DVDplayer(Panasonic). I've tried changing the Book Type in Nero to every option it offers. It defaults to Automatic, which doesn't seem to work after the 1st time. The other options are DVD-ROM, Physical Disk, and Current Recorder Setting. I tried each of these on the same disk.
Any ideas out there? |

Re: DVD+RW will record once only
There's no indication that it is finalizing.
After I tried all the various options of Book Type, I took the same disk and put it in my old Dell pc that is running XP, and recorded the same files with an older version of Nero Start Smart, and that recording will play on my DVD player. Could this be a Vista issue? |
