HELP! - New Blu Ray writer not visible in "My Computer"

Hi,

I have just installed a SATA LG Blu Ray writer into my Windows XP PC.

This PC also has a standard IDE CD writer (Drive D) which works fine.

The standard CD writer is visible in "My Computer" and "Windows Explorer" but my new Blu Ray drive is not.

Why cant I see my new drive in "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer"?

My new drive is recognised by the system

I've been in "Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management" and the Blu Ray drive IS there. It is shown as drive "F".

I've also checked "System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> DVD/CD ROM
Drives" and my new drive IS also shown there.

Supplied LG burning software works!

The supplied LG burning software can see drive F and I've written to a Blu Ray disk no problem.

My new drive might work with the supplied burning software, but I want to be able to browse my Blu Ray data disks in the same way I can browse CD's/DVD's using "My Computer" and "Windows Explorer" like I can with my old CD writer (drive D).

I do have one mapped drive but this is drive E so that shouldn't be the cause of the problem (I think).

Any help greatly appreciated.
