Floppy disk compatability
At our shop we have 2 edm machines that use floppy drives to load programs. They currently use 3.5" double sided double density disks to do so. These are becoming hard to come by. They say they have tried double sided high density disks and they do not work. Is it the drive itself that cannot use the ds/hd disks. If so, can I just replace the drive? Should the ds/hd disks work? Is there a different format between the 2? Thanks for any info!
