my cd drive and dvd drive wont regognize anything at all??? please help ??
right okay
i have a cd-dvd rw drive and a dvd drive (model numbers below) cd-dvd rw drive = lite-on dvd+rw sohw-8225 dvd drive = hl-dt-st dvd-rom gdr8163b and when i put in a game or cd it does not recognize it simply makes a noise then does nothing?  this is realy annoying as i just brought call of duty 4 thanks in advance o.d |

uninstall the upper and lower filters
scroll down to how here http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...060&x=12&y=13# check for a firmware update for the drive
