AV-Link external USB HDD case AL351U2 90V AC Above Earth
Hi All,
I have a AV-Link external USB I-Beam HDD case model Number AL351U2 and I received a tingle from it when I touched it and the case of my computer. When I checked, I found that as long as the USB cable wasn't connected, there was a 90V AC Potential between the case of the HDD Enclosure and the case, or any other earth point. The salesman said that this was possibly normal. Is anyone else getting a zap from their portable HDD case? Thanks for your time. |
