[SOLVED] PIONEER dvd-rw dvr k17lf ata DOESN'T WORK AGAIN

I don't remember where to find the filters to turn them off since the last time my DVD wouldn't work. I have Vista system on a Toshiba.
There was a link to windows, but I can't recall how I got there.
