[SOLVED] Floppy Drive Won't Work
Just built a new computer, used the old power supply, old case, and old floppy. It uses and "Asus P5N-E SLI". OS is Windows XP Pro (yes legit). Device manager shows no missing drivers, (and I couldn't imagine a floppy needing a 3rd party driver..), the floppy is correctly hooked up. The light on it is constantly on. and it does not recognize any floppy's in it. I have never used a floppy drive in my life, when i came about to PC's it was CD drives and floppy's were pretty much out. Hope you can help.
(I plan to test out another floppy drive in a few days when I have a chance) Thanks In Advance |

Re: Floppy Drive Won't Work
As Far As I know a floppy cable can only go on one way just like a HDD cable. But I will check that for sure. Also the floppy was working, gonna try new cable and just kinda swap parts around, and gonna look for similar problems on the same mobo.
