DVD Burner error

I have an Hp dvd 200i DVD rewriter and have recently been trying to use it to burn my DVDs. Everytime I try to use it, and no matter what program I use(DVD Decrypter, HP burning software, Sonic, and DVD flick are some that I have tried) it works fine until the dvd is 86 to 95 percent complete then I have a device I/O error. Can anyone help or is my DVD burner just shot?????? It retries about 90 times and then closes the session giving me an incomplete project.

Re: DVD Burner error

I do not is there a way i can look up a history of that log. I tried but i don't know where to look. Should I just attempt it again and copy the log so I can post?

Re: DVD Burner error

find your temp folder for the program in the documents and settings folder. you might have to make your hidden files and folders visiable. its documents and settings/(user name)/local settings/application data/temp. something like that. somewhere in that area you can find the temp folder for your programs and the log files should be in there.
