[SOLVED] Dvd R and Dvd RW detection Problem

I have a Dvd R and a Dvd Rw installed in my pc...but explorer detects only one of the drives....when i open the casing and replug the missing drive, it comes back in my computer but on restart it disappears again..i cant see the missing drive in device manager....neone has any suggestions on solving this problem?

Welcome to TSF.

Reseat the cable at the motherboard as well.
Replace the cable.
Are the drives SATA or IDE?

i derno:S...but dis problem appears to be solved when i dlded this app from d internet "HiSerial.sys V.1.5" ...now it works fyn
