IDE DVD/CD burner question
Hi, I have to get some IDE CD/DVD burners (thanks to NVIDIAs screwed up optical SATA drivers) and am wondering if their is any performance drop with 2 drives on one channel (only one IDE port on mobo). Is disc to disc burning going to be slowed down any? Should I just get one drive, image the disc I need to copy, then burn the image, or will disc to disc still be faster? Also, do IDE optical drives work slower than SATA? The ones I am getting are the exact same drives as my SATA, but with IDE connectors instead. Thanks!
