OK so heres the deal. I want a 1TB drive (undecisive soo far), one that will support 4-pin firewire and possibly USB(So i can still share it w/ ppl that dont have 1394). But i also thought about getting an eSATA PCMCIA card for my laptop and an external 1TB HDD. But the i thought about the possible bottleneck i will face withe the PCMCIA to eSATA conversion.
- Will this bottleneck exist? ---If so will it be dramatic or will i do better with 4-pin firewire? ((-Does anyone know the data throughput rate of PCMCIA, Firewire 4-pin, and eSATA?)) |
