Evil U3 Usb

i'm having trouble with my U3 USB drive. it is Toshiba 2 GB U3 smart drive. when i bought it i was thinking that you could jam any windows program on it(.exe file extension). and jee, was I wrong!!! after i plugged it into my computer, i soon realized that they have to be a special type of program with the .u3p file extension. MAN WAS I TICKED OFF!!! if anyone out there knows how to run WINDOWS programs on it, can you please tell me how to do it. maybe there is a freeware program that can run windows programs on a USB. and please don't tell me about the Portable Apps Suite beacause i already know about and it is no use to me.
