Firewire 400 not recognized XPSP2

Iomega External drive used to work, now XP doesn't recognice firewire 400 connection

is there any yellow alongside of it in the device manager

No, tested firewire port with camera, works OK, replaced firewire 400 cable for Iomega Ultramax 640 GB External drive, still dosn't work, USB works OK so recovering data with USB, but have to contact Iomega as I have to make fireiwre work as USB conflicts with video breakout box.
